The sports facilities are an important part of the Samanah community. The Nicklaus golf course takes up 100 of the 300-hectare total land area and this does not include the 7 hectare practice range, built to the same standards as the course and the 1.5 hectare pitch & putt course.
Play Without Constraint:
To avoid any risk of congestion and ensure that all players can enjoy their golf game to the full, access to the course is strictly controlled. A two-hour time slot is reserved every day for the hotel guests and the rest of the time playing rights holders take priority.
A Range Of Sport Activities:
In addition to the comprehensive golfing facilities on Samanah there are many other sports facilities available including a tennis club with 6 excellent courts, 4 petanque courts, several enormous pools in the deluxe hotels, spa facilities and a concierge service at the welcome riad (entrance to the main market square) can arrange any type of excursion that comes to mind. From December to May you are also able to ski or snowboard in Oukaimeden - only a 45-minute drive into the Atlas Mountains.
Everyone Can Play:
Although the golf at Samanah was designed for experienced golfers it is still possible for beginners and intermediates to enjoy the facilities. For starters, those who want to learn can use the Leadbetter academy, practice range and chip & putt and the main course is accessible enough for intermediate golfers from the forward tees.
